The order was global and the objective was clear, to return the unit to its maximum splendor but with a special request from the client: to have 400 hp instead of the 320 hp.

911 Turbo generation 964, the last rear-wheel drive
The last version with a single turbocharger and rear-wheel drive was the 964 generation.
Subsequently, the 993 was equipped with two turbos and 4 wheel drive, which provided its owners with a more digestible drive compared to the brutality of the power delivery of the 964 and its rear-wheel drive.
The initial state
This unit was acquired in France in a normal state of conservation but with a multitude of pending works on body, interiors and mechanics.
In the mechanical section we had air intakes through the intake, hot start problems and massive oil leaks from engine block.
The order was global and the objective was clear, to return the unit to its maximum splendor but with a special request from the client: to have 400 hp instead of the 320 hp.
Engine Rehabilitation
It is worth distinguishing two different concepts:
-Engine rebuild is when we carry out complete disassembly of all engine components, screw by screw and piece by piece for subsequent measurement, cleaning and weighing and assembly to obtain an engine with maximum compression and km 0.
-Major overhaul: here at Valentin Motors we call major overhaul the intervention process of engine and gearbox decoupling and complete systems review protocol but without disassembling the complete engine.
