Porsche Panamera (from 2009)
The Panamera is Porsche's saloon: front engine, four real seats and from 300 to 700 hp depending on version. The first generation (2009-2016) offers V6, V8, Turbo, diesel and hybrid; the second (2016-2023) brings the Sport Turismo, the eight-speed PDK and the E-Hybrids; the third, from 2024, refines the formula with active suspension.
It is bought as a car for business and for travel, and it is inspected as such: suspension, electronics and, on hybrids, battery. A Panamera with history is a four-door grand tourer that is hard to match.
What we check on a Panamera before selling it
- Air suspension and PASM: leaks, compressor and dampers.
- PDK: oil and filter service and behaviour in slow shifts.
- Engine: on the V8, cooling and leaks; on diesels, injectors and particulate filter; on hybrids, battery and high-voltage system.
- Electronics: PCM, driver assistance, sensors and stored codes.
- Tyres, brakes (PCCB if fitted) and match of options with the Porsche certificate.
