Porsche Macan (from 2014)
The Macan is the best-selling Porsche in history and the compact SUV that drives best. A 2.0 four-cylinder in the base car, 3.0 V6 in the S and GTS and 3.6 in the Turbo, always with seven-speed PDK and four-wheel drive. The 2018 and 2021 updates refine engine, interior and electronics. From 2024 it lives alongside the electric Macan.
It is bought as an everyday car, which is why there are many of them and with miles on them. The inspection separates the ones that have been looked after from the ones that have merely been driven.
What we check on a Macan before selling it
- PDK: oil and filter service and cold behaviour. Transfer case: early cars had trouble and there is a campaign.
- Engine: oil leaks, timing chain and, on the V6, cooling pipes and gaskets.
- Service history within the Porsche network and service campaigns carried out.
- Electronics: PCM, sensors, cameras and driver assistance. Everything must work.
- Tyres, brakes, air suspension if fitted and match of options.

Every Porsche Macan we sell goes through our 111-point inspection, leaves with a twelve-month or 10,000 km warranty on engine and gearbox, and its certified mileage is stated on the sales invoice.
