Used Porsche 991
Porsche 911 type 991 (2011-2019)
The 991 grows ten centimetres in wheelbase, introduces electric steering and a seven-speed manual, and is the last naturally aspirated 911 Carrera: 3.4 with 350 hp and 3.8 with 400 in the first series. The second (2016-2019) moves to the 3.0 twin-turbo with 370 and 420 hp. GT3 and GT3 RS keep the naturally aspirated 4.0; the Turbo S reaches 580 hp.
A 991.1 Carrera is today the most sensible modern naturally aspirated 911; a 991.2 is practically a current car. In both cases the service history at Porsche or a specialist and the state of the electronics matter more than the mileage.
What we check on a 991 before selling it
- PDK: oil and filter service, behaviour in slow shifts and in Sport mode.
- Engine: minor leaks at covers and gaskets, and on the 991.2 the condition of the turbos and intercooler.
- Electronics: PCM, sensors, software updates and stored fault codes.
- PASM suspension and front axle lift, if fitted. Tyres and wheels: size, dates and damage.
- Service history, Porsche Approved warranty if it still has it, and options according to the certificate.
Buying a 991 at Valentín Motors
Every Porsche 991 we sell goes through our 111-point inspection, leaves with a twelve-month or 10,000 km warranty on engine and gearbox, and its certified mileage is stated on the sales invoice. We have been Porsche specialists since 1979, with our own workshops in Barcelona and Madrid: the car you buy here has been on our lift before it reaches your hands.
If you have found the one you want elsewhere, we can also check it for you before you pay for it: pre-purchase inspection.
