"The Porsche 356 should be in any collection of a fan of the brand. Period."
The 356 represents the origin of everything. The first time that Porsche manufactured its own production car, with its own identity, and placed it in a high price segment for reasons strictly linked to the engineering of its time. Its success was immediate and global, and its impact on sports car culture is still felt.
The great commercial success of the model, especially in the United States through its importer Max Hoffmann, pushed Porsche to develop a more accessible version for the American market. Hence the 356 Speedster was born, which later also became an icon of the brand thanks to the story of the legendary actor James Dean.
In Europe, the brand's commercial department observed that the cabriolet versions usually circulated with the top up. This information led them to manufacture the hardtop version, designed by the famous coachbuilder Karmann. A cabriolet with the aesthetics of a hardtop: pure Porsche logic.
This unit, with body KAAN and restoration complete, offers the 356 in its most honest form: ready to enjoy, with the warranty that every element has been judiciously reviewed and restored.
