Our weekend drives began with a few clients and became an open, free gathering for people who share a passion for Porsche and the road.

Porsche Owners Club Porsche

Departure to Catellolí

A few years ago we started meeting sporadically to go on weekend outings with some clients. Little by little the interest in these outings grew and today it has become an excuse to bring together people with common concerns around an activity.

Participation is open to everyone and is free, with the only expense being those derived from the activity: restaurants, circuit rental, communications system rental, etc.

Our activities

Every two months, if socio-sanitary circumstances allow, we hold an event, alternating cultural outings with driving courses or stretches of road. These are not competitive activities, we look for moments of socialization with Porsche owners with whom we share affinities. We have become a group of friends who organize a getaway from time to time.

“The Club is a good way to share time with people who have the same tastes, the same passion. There is always gastronomy involved, my other passion. I really like when we do historic rally stages and how you prepare the roadbooks”

— Carlos A.

Track days

We usually rent a circuit a few kilometers from Barcelona where we do runs, when we can enjoy sporty driving of our vehicles. We have visited almost all the runways in Catalonia, we have even driven inside an airport.

Driving courses

We carry out sports driving courses, safe driving courses.. moments where, guided by professionals, we acquire new driving skills.

Endurance

The endurance format consists of a one or two-day outing where we travel through legendary stretches of public roads that we combine with gastronomic events.

Cultural activities

Taking advantage of the fact that we are a group of people with common interests, we seek to combine activities that do not focus exclusively on driving: visits to wineries, wine tastings, views of private collections,…

Outlaws

An outing format in a small group, usually during the week with a certain dose of improvisation.

How to sign up

The only essential requirement is to possess a Porsche vehicle in perfect driving condition. The activities are not restricted to any specific model, anyone can participate: classics, youngtimers, contemporary. We will announce the activities in advance through our social networks or through our newsletter.

9/11 Rebel Ride

Date: November 2019 Location: Inland Catalonia

On Saturday 11 November, from Valentin Motors we wanted to pay tribute to this important date for us, as Porsche lovers that we are. A very special day, since on this occasion 11/9 fell on a Saturday and, obviously, we could not miss this opportunity. So we gathered some other “911 enthusiasts to join us for this unique event, the “9/11 Rebel Ride”.

Neither more nor less than 20 magnificent vehicles followed us along the roads of inland Catalonia, on a route that we divided into 5 spectacular sections: Pinos, Hostalnou, Vilaredes, Taurons and La Bassa. We enjoyed driving, at a very good pace, on beautiful and technical roads, suitable for all drivers. A morning in which we encountered fog and clouds, but in the end the sun smiled on us for a good part of the day, which we ended with a meal at the renowned restaurant Aligué, a delight for our palates. The perfect ending to such a memorable day, because it was our day.

VI Endurance “The French Connection”

Date: September 2019 Location: Roussillon, France

After the briefing and a good breakfast, we hit the road under a dark and rainy morning, heading to the first regrouping control at the Q8 gas station in Matadepera. From there we continued our route through spectacular landscapes and mountains, until we reached the restaurant Mitic, where we stopped to rest and recharge our batteries with a delicious meal. We headed the afternoon towards the beautiful French stretches of Vallespir, ending in the town of Le Boulou. We could not end the intense day any other way than with dinner at the spectacular Solomillo restaurant, a luxury that our VI Endurance deserves.

The Grand Tour Tribute by VM

Date: May 2019 Location: La Seu d’Urgell airport

This time we decided to give our mythical road routes a twist and do something different in a very special terrain, an airport, specifically that of La Seu d’Urgell. And why not use an airstrip to create a “track day” for our Porsche? And so we did it. On Saturday 4 of May our “The Grand Tour Tribute” took place, during a morning full of fun and anecdotes that we experienced together with our participants, some great riders.

A splendid day of sunshine accompanied us the entire day, which began punctually at 10 in the morning. After the usual briefing, the 3 groups into which the attendees were divided, each went to their area. The airport was divided into 3 spectacular circuits, one of them more demanding, with a longer route and accompanied by a curve passed through water, the other stood out for its fun slalom, and finally the last and the most different, where our participants had to put aside the Porsche to get into a Beetle that we converted into a rear-wheel drive, having to do an exercise to learn how to do countersteering, since the rear axle had the idler wheels, quite a challenge. Once the morning is over, we head to eat and rest at the splendid Aravell Golf & Country Club, where we end the day.

V Endurance “Band of Speed Hunters”

Date: April 2019 Location: Solsonés and Cerdanya

This time, our tour focused on an intense morning, which we took advantage of to travel the spectacular roads of Solsonés, passing through the foothills of Cadí, and thus arriving at Seu D’Urgell, with landscapes that left us breathless. After an intense but rewarding journey, we arrived at El Paller de Queixans, in Puigcerdà, to enjoy its typical cuisine and to be able to rest, without haste or worries, before returning home.

III Endurance “The Mods” Tour

Date: December 2018 Location: Igualada

We thoroughly enjoyed the day, with places fully covered and great participation from our riders. A success of which we are very proud. The tour was characterized by a mix of roads of all types around the Igualada area, with a more concentrated format, which required more involvement from the riders.

II Endurance Tour “Le Tech”

Date: October 2018 Place: Roussillon, France

Divided into two parts and 8 stages covering famous sections of well-known links and with incredible views of this beautiful area of Roussillon. The morning format being easier with well-known and spectacular roads, and the afternoon sector being more technical and complex, accompanied by a final part with little light and 4 very technical stages.

We are looking for a day with “a point of hardness”, suitable for all levels and with the warranty of safety of our guided outings with road-book, always following basic safety rules.

Event Porsche: Rioja Alta

Date: April 2018 Location: La Rioja

An exciting weekend full of surprises. Boutique hotels, landscapes, lost roads, wine culture, local cuisine, and most importantly, excellent travel companions..

This time with destination Rioja Alta, welcomed by our clients and friends Iván and Fernando. They have guided us through their land and we have thoroughly enjoyed all the activities we have done.

Roads that allow you to enjoy the green splendor that blends perfectly with the different models of 911. Get to know Haro (the Station District), Briones (the most beautiful town in Spain) and San Millán de la Cogolla.

After this trip, we can assure you that there are several essential appointments: Las Bodegas Rioja Alta, Restaurante 4 Arcos, Museo Vivanco and the Monasteries of Yuso and Suso. Between wines and ribs we discover the birth of the Castilian, or the patron saint of Spain: San Millán.

Winter Ride 2017: collection Porsche

Date: October 2017 Location: Pamplona

We enjoyed the last weekend of March so much that we couldn’t help but return. On this occasion, base camp in Pamplona, specifically at the Hotel Muga de Beloso. They have treated us wonderfully. Charming rooms, private parking and a spa, ideal for relaxing after 500kms tours from Barcelona.

All those clients who did not have the opportunity to escape with us in March, on this second occasion, have not thought about it for a single moment. We like events with a weekend format. In the most Porsche style. We are more than a workshop specialist Porsche in Barcelona. We like to have excuses to go out in search of adventure. We have been able to verify that routes and gastronomy are the optimal formula to discover new areas. Roads with marked personality and nature in its purest form.

Taking advantage of the occasion to meet again with clients from Logroño, Pamplona and Bilbao. Without a doubt, they have been our right hand. Leaders who have made us explore areas that Google Maps does not know.

Following his advice, we went to the Witch Museum in Zugarramurdi. Surrounded by the stories and legends that emerged around the inquisitorial process of 1610 we made the cultural visit with a guide.

We also visited the Otazu Wineries. A wine cathedral that integrates the most advanced winemaking technologies. Quite an experience, since the visit was not only about the wine itself, but also about all the works of art that are along the tour.

Discovering Roncesvalles, the Sierra de Irati and letting ourselves be carried away by the legends of the Baztan Valley is a dream come true. In summary; Spectacular company and roads, along with exquisite cuisine, have made it a unique weekend.

Trackday Sensations: Castellolí circuit

Date: June 2017 Location: Fast Parcmotor Castellolí

Last Saturday 17 June Valentin Motors organized a Trackday Sensations where the clients of the workshop specialist Porsche in Barcelona were able to enjoy the facilities of the Fast Campus Parcmotor. Following the instructions of the David Bosch team, they performed maneuvers in complete safety, knowing the vehicle’s reactions and rectifying erroneous actions behind the wheel.

In welcoming the attendees, the partners were presented. Personnel displaced by Michelinmade an explanation of the sports range. Making known the different assembly possibilities for the brand’s vehicles.

Next, a walking reconnaissance of the track guided by professional driver David Bosch of the different layouts and asphalts. Once the three groups identified by color, blue, red and yellow, were created, they were ready and eager to enter the track.

Attendees had the opportunity to test Pilot Sport Cup tires 2 on rims 17 and 18 and Pilot Sport 2 on rims 18 with Porsche (N) markings. The three games provided by Michelin. Their change was carried out in the pits. Two tents supplied by KW where three mechanics from Valentin Motors carried out changes and pressure checks.

In addition, two vehicles with the suspension KW V1 and V3 so that customers could test them on the track and be able to see first-hand the behavior of these suspensions.

Once again Mobil1 was present. On this occasion, it is essential to carry out levels for those vehicles that could not go through workshop before going to the circuit. You should not overlook checking levels and pressures to enter the track.

Valentin Motors presented for the first time the latest reconstruction work on a classic Porsche carried out by the team. Assembly of KW suspensions and replacement of front and rear ball joints. Complete engine rebuild and replacement of the exhaust set. Regarding the paint, front and rear bumpers, fuchs rims in matte and glossy black. Labeling and vinyl to suit the client.

The Porsche 3.2 unit from the year 72 was driven by David and Jordi to corroborate the excellent work of the Valentin Motors technical team. Taking advantage of the occasion, a report was made that will soon appear in one of the editions of the only magazine in Spanish specialized in Porsche, 9ONCE Plus.

Summer Ride 2017: Next Level

Date: June 2017 Location: Fast Parcmotor of Castellolí

We go to the next level. On Saturday 17 June we prepared together with the David Bosch team from the Fast Parcmotor de Castellolí an advanced course to learn to control the vehicle in more complex risk situations. How to carry out preventive driving to avoid loss of vehicle control and anticipate driving risks.

It was an ideal opportunity for all those riders who aim to increase their driving safety and learn about the behavior of their unit. The participation of riders with different units gives us the possibility of observing the very different reactions that Porsche brand vehicles have. It’s incredible how a 964 vs 997 draws a curve on the school circuit.

Sometimes on the road we reach high-risk situations and, with ignorance of the vehicle’s behavior, erroneous actions are carried out. On the track and with personalized advice from the instructors, maneuvers can be performed in complete safety. Since the track is equipped for it.

Riders will receive instructions and corrections from instructors via walkie-talkie.
