3.- Cars (2006)

This is one of the most unknown titles in this selection. But we believe that every Porsche fan has to know this thriller that explains the true story of Vlada Vasiljević. In 1979 this Belgrade resident stole a Porsche 911 Targa S and for ten nights he kept the communist police in check with his reckless driving.

In the fifth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, the late actor Paul Walker appears driving what appears to be a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. In reality it is a 911 Carrera from the second generation of the 996 series modified with a graphics package. We leave you a video of the making of:

6.- Fracture (2007)

Sir Anthony Hopkins drives a Porsche Carrera GT in this film in which he co-stars with Ryan Gosling and which was released in Spain as Perfect Crime. He only does it in a single scene, but it is long and the appearance of the super exclusive Carrera GT is without a doubt one of the most memorable moments of the film. 7.- Spy Game (2001)

Spy Game brought together in 2001 two of the most charismatic actors in history: Robert Redford and Brad Pitt. In this spectacular thriller the veteran CIA agent played by Redford drives a classic Porsche 912 1968 in oak green that has a stellar scene at the end of the film.

8.- I want you (2011)

Also in Spanish cinema we find cameos by Porsche. An example is this sequel to Three Meters Above the Sky located in Barcelona in which Mario Casas’s character has a very special date and his brother leaves him a 997 Turbo to impress the girl played by Clara Lago.

9.- Top Gun Maverick (2022)

In the original film from 1986 a Porsche already appeared. In that case it was a 356 Speedster black from 1958 with which Charlie, the character played by Kelly McGillis, walked through the streets of San Diego. However, on that occasion it was not a vintage unit, but a replica built by the Canadian specialist workshop Intermeccanica.

In the recent sequel Jennifer Connelly has gotten behind the wheel of an authentic Porsche 911 S from 1973 that belongs to the collection of Nick Psyllos and is valued at more than 200.00 dollars. “Penny sails in fast boats, so I liked the idea of her also driving a vintage Porsche,” director Joseph Kosinski told Bloomberg. “I think the 911 S model from 1973 is one of their most timeless designs.” The Porsche 911 S was the last of the series with a long hood and thin bumper.

10.- I’m flying (2006)

This is the biopic of Juan Carlos Delgado “el Pera”, a petty criminal who throughout the years 70 and 80 was arrested more than 150 times. In this tribute to the quinqui cinema of the years 70 and 80 many cars appear. But a Porsche 924 coupé 2+2 shines with its own light, which was one of the brand’s first models with a front engine and rear-wheel drive.
